  1. Zoo Oktoberfest: Home Edition

    October 23, 2020, 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Online Only

Fall is in the air which means it’s time for Oktoberfest! This year, TPZS invites you to celebrate virtually and support your Idaho Falls Zoo with Oktoberfest: Home Edition. From October 5-19, you’ll have the opportunity to purchase exclusive Oktoberfest: Home Edition packages online for families and adults. Each package will feature a unique and exclusive “carry-out party in a box” option for 2-6 people to enjoy at home. On Friday, Oct. 23 from 5:00-7:00 p.m., you’ll pick up your party box at the William J. Maeck Education Center located at the front entrance of the Idaho Falls Zoo. Then, to enhance your home experience, the zookeepers will host an online event at 8:00 p.m. that night taking you behind the scenes of some of the animal exhibits while you enjoy your party box. By supporting TPZS fundraisers, you support your zoo!

October 24, 2020, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM @ Idaho Falls Zoo at Tautphaus Park

The last day of our 2020 operations will be Saturday, Oct. 24 and we're going out with a blast! Your zoo and SelectHealth are teaming up to bring you a new end-of-the-season event, #IFZoo’s Last Blast of the Season on Saturday, Oct. 24 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. During #IFZoo’s Last Blast of the Season, each guest that brings a canned food item to donate to the Community Food Basket of Idaho Falls will get half-priced admission to the zoo’s last day of the 2020 season. Admission without a can of food will be regular price. Also, while at the zoo on Oct. 24, guests are invited to take a photo of themselves or their favorite zoo animal and post it to social media with the tag #IFZoo. Everyone who tags a photo will be entered into a drawing to win an annual zoo family pass good for the 2021 season, courtesy of SelectHealth.
