Who Do I Call For Snow Removal On Sidewalks?
Snow removal complaints regarding inaccessible sidewalks or snow that has not been shoveled should be forwarded to Public Safety at (208) 529-1200. Each call to this number is recorded.

What types of ADA complaints and grievances does the City address?
The City of Idaho Falls is committed to accommodating ADA needs and addressing concerns as they apply to City-owned facilities and programs. Private entities that own, operate, lease, or lease to places of public accommodation do not fall under the City’s ADA policy and should be referred to the appropriate resource. Northwest ADA Center of Idaho is a resource that may be able to assist and may be reached by calling or texting (208) 841-9422 or the Idaho Relay Service at 711.

How Do I File a Grievance?
Any individual who believes he or she has been discriminated against on the basis of disability, in the provision of services, activities, programs, or benefits by the City of Idaho Falls can file a grievance in accordance with the grievance procedures below or contact the City's ADA/Section 504 Coordinator.

What is NVDA?
NVDA (Non-Visual Desktop Access) is a free “screen reader” which enables blind and vision impaired people to use computers. It reads the text on the screen in a computerized voice. You can control what is read to you by moving the cursor to the relevant area of text with a mouse or the arrows on your keyboard. NVDA can also convert the text into braille if the computer user owns a device called a “braille display”.
