Idaho Falls, ID – After investigating a leaking water service at the 1400 block of S Woodruff Avenue near the Three Fountains Condominiums earlier this morning, the City of Idaho Falls Water Division will be moving forward with repairing the leak beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 4.

Southbound traffic will be reduced to a single lane occupying the center turn lane through the construction zone.  Motorists should expect traffic delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes. Construction is anticipated to be complete prior to the evening commute.

Water service interruptions will occur along Woodruff Avenue between 12^th Street and 16^th Street.  Barring unforeseen complications, water service should be restored prior to noon. Impacted residences and businesses in the area will be notified prior to any disruption in service.

Please reduce speeds due to winter driving conditions, obey posted traffic control signage, and watch for construction crews throughout the work zone.
