Idaho Falls, ID - Idaho Falls Police detectives have made an arrest in the early morning armed robbery today of an Idaho Falls McDonald's restaurant.
Charles Nelson Beasley, Jr.,was arrested without incident by Idaho Falls detectives this afternoon in Bingham County. Idaho Falls Police determined that the suspect had multiple possible addresses in both Bonneville and Bingham Counties, and worked with Bingham County law enforcement authorities to locate and apprehend the suspect.
Beasley, Jr., age 50, was also wanted on misdemeanor warrants for his arrest out Chubbuck and Idaho Falls. He is being transported to Bonneville County by IFPD, where he will be booked on one count of Armed Robbery, in addition to the outstanding warrants.
IFPD detectives interviewed the suspect, who admitted to the early morning robbery at the McDonald's restaurant on 17th near Holmes in Idaho Falls. Detectives were also able to recover the weapon from the robbery, which was discovered to be a BB-gun pistol. The money from the robbery, which was estimated to be approximately $130, was not recovered.
