Idaho Falls, ID – Beginning tomorrow, September 13th, 3H Construction will temporarily close 8th and 9th Street from S Holmes Avenue to S Higbee Avenue for the replacement of water lines. This project was originally scheduled to start August 10, however there were unexpected delays with another project that impacted the timeline of this project.
The work on 8th and 9th Street requires closure of the roads on this city block for approximately six weeks, barring unforeseen conditions. Detours will be marked.
Residents in the area will have access to their homes and driveways. However, on-street parking will be prohibited during construction.
The contractor will notify property owners if they find it necessary to turn off water service to homes for any reason. If water service is disrupted for more than a few hours, the contractor will provide temporary water.
Please reduce speeds, obey posted traffic control signage and watch for construction crews in the vicinity.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. If you have any questions about this project, please call 3H Construction at (208) 589-7713.
