From early August through October, Depatco, Inc. will be working for the Idaho Transportation Department applying an asphalt overlay on US Highway 26 from E Iona Road to W 65th S.
Highway 26 is, in part, also Highway 91. The corridor is commonly referred to as Yellowstone Highway or Yellowstone Avenue and Northgate Mile.
Included in the project will be the replacement of damaged curb, gutter and sidewalk. The project also calls for ADA sidewalk ramps and a new traffic signal at N Holmes Avenue and Yellowstone Avenue. All businesses along the route will be accessible.
The corridor will remain open to traffic, however multiple lane and shoulder closures are necessary during construction.
