Idaho Falls, ID – The City of Idaho Falls Water Division will be repairing a leaking water service in the 900 block of Lincoln Road near its intersection with Bennett Avenue beginning at 6:30 AM on Wednesday, July 18.
Motorists should expect traffic delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes. East-bound traffic will be impacted during construction, being reduced to a single lane of traffic occupying the center turn lane. West-bound traffic should be unaffected. During construction, Bennett Avenue will be closed to traffic between Lincoln Road and the North Bel Aire Subdivision. Construction is anticipated to be complete prior to the evening commute.
No water service interruptions are anticipated at this time. If required, impacted businesses in the area will be notified prior to any disruption in service.
Please reduce speeds, obey posted traffic control signage and watch for construction crews throughout the work zone.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we repair the leak as quickly as possible.
