Update 9:00 PM, 6/26:
Craig Blankenship, 36, was identified and arrested by the IFPD within 11 hours after he allegedly robbed the Bank of Commerce on West Broadway earlier that day.
Thanks to the teamwork of the bank and other businesses, police, community members and media, the suspect was quickly apprehended before he could flee the area.
"Help from the public is absolutely essential to effective community policing," said Chief Bryce Johnson. "We want to thank the people of Idaho Falls and our media partners for sharing this information promptly."

Update 6:00 PM, 6/26: 
Idaho Falls Police received a tip from the public which helped them to locate and detain a man whom they believe is the suspect of the bank robbery which occurred Tuesday morning around 9:30 AM at the Bank of Commerce on West Broadway Avenue.
Police believe the man is the same man pictured in the photos obtained through video surveillance footage. Until it is confirmed that he is indeed the suspect in the crime, police will not release his identity.

Update 3:45 PM, 6/26:
Idaho Falls Police have obtained video camera surveillance photos of the suspect who allegedly robbed the bank.
Police believe the man has likely changed his clothing since the robbery and may now be wearing:
- Jeans
- A black t-shirt (either a Nike Air t-shirt with a camouflage colored square on the front or a Nike t-shirt with teal colored words “Twenty Three” on the front and the sleeves
and/or - A camouflage colored Champion ball cap
