Idaho Falls Police mobilized and served 23 warrants in a 7-day period. The majority of those warrants, 13 of them, were served on May 8th.
Of the people arrested, 12 of the 23 had outstanding felony warrants.
Three of the arrests also yielded new charges:
- When police arrested 49 year old Jason Hawkinson, they discovered he was in possession of drugs and paraphernalia. Two new charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia were added.
- A charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was also added when police arrested 29 year old Miguel Garza, who was found to be possession of a pipe.
- Shikera Garza, 27, was found to be stealing merchandise at WalMart on Utah Ave. She was subsequently charged with Petit Theft and arrested on two outstanding warrants.
