[ARCHIVED] Dream Big Idaho Falls!

Dream Big MovieIdaho Falls, ID – The movie, Dream Big: Engineering Our World is coming to Idaho Falls!

This movie will transform students’ understanding of engineering and inspire them to learn more about the “E” in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).

Families are invited to join us for a FREE screening of this MacGillivray Freeman Films movie. Three separate screenings will be held at the Colonial Theater in Idaho Falls to accommodate busy schedules. Presentations and/or demonstrations by local engineers will illustrate how STEM affects our community locally. In conjunction with the movies and demonstrations, the Museum of Idaho will host an Engineering Day.

Dream Big is a huge film – literally. From the Great Wall of China and the world’s tallest buildings, to underwater robots, solar cars and smart, and sustainable cities.  Dream Big celebrates the human ingenuity behind engineering marvels, big and small, and reveals the heart that drives engineers to create better lives for people around the world.

“I was captivated and inspired when I had the opportunity to watch the movie. Since then, I’ve been determined to bring the movie to Idaho Falls with the hope that it will also inspire youth and families in our community,” states Idaho Falls Mayor Rebecca Casper.
