Idaho Falls, Idaho -- The Idaho Falls Police Department is seeking assistance from the community to locate a silver Nissan Versa hatchback (2009). The vehicle is driven by a high school teenage boy who is distraught and threatening self-harm. He is armed with firearms, but we do not have reason to believe he is a threat to the public at this time.

The young man lives and attend schools on the West side of Idaho Falls, which is where he was last seen.

Westside schools have been notified.

If anyone locates the vehicle matching this description, please do not attempt to approach the vehicle or individual, but rather call the Idaho Falls Police Department immediately at (208) 529-1200 or by calling 911.

A photo of a 2009 Nissan Versa (not the one owned by this young man) is attached.

We also encourage the public to share the related Facebook post located on our page: https://www.facebook.com/idahofallspolice/
