ADA Improvements
The City of Idaho Falls Street Division will be installing ADA sidewalk ramps at various locations throughout the city. The anticipated completion time is mid-September.
- Intersection of N. Capital Avenue & “B” Street – three out of the four corners will be upgraded.
- Intersection of N. Capital Avenue & “D” Street – two western corners will be upgraded.
- Intersection of Constitution Way & N. Yellowstone Avenue – two eastern corners will be upgraded.
E. Elva Street & N. Holmes Avenue Intersection
TMC Contractors, Inc. will close the southern half of the E. Elva Street & N. Holmes Avenue intersection the evening of Saturday, Aug. 26.
The intersection will be reopened Monday, Aug. 28.
The construction zone will be from E. Elva Street to Whittier Street. The contractor will indicate detours as needed.
Please watch for equipment and workers, follow all traffic signs and flaggers, and reduce speeds to posted limits.
