Idaho Falls Police Department Captain Royce Clements states, “We are really pleased to have this many people come to our community and see no real increase in our call volume. There was no substantial criminal activity in our city during the event. Overall, our community was very prepared, very welcoming and extremely helpful. In fact, we even had a local family handing out bottles of water at the Sunnyside exit preparing travelers as they exited the city and headed south.”
