A cold front will cross Southeastern Idaho this afternoon and
bring strong Southwesterly winds to the Upper and Lower Snake
Plain. Some blowing dust is expected.

...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM MDT THIS EVENING...
* IMPACTS/TIMING...Strong and gusty winds will make driving
difficult for high profile vehicles. Areas of blowing dust may
limit visibility for motorists in areas of bare ground or
recently plowed fields.
* WINDS...Southwest winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.
* LOCATIONS...The Upper and Lower Snake Plain and Eastern Magic
Valley, including the Interstate 84 and 86 corridor from
Burley to Pocatello and Interstate 15 corridor from Pocatello
to Idaho Falls and Hamer.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A wind advisory means that winds of 30 mph are expected. Gusts
over 45 mph are possible. Winds this strong can make driving
difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra
caution.
