Saturday, Sept. 21 is Community Appreciation Day at Idaho Falls Zoo which means everyone 4 and over gets in to the zoo for only $1.00 AND a can of food per person. 3 and under, as usual, is free. This event is made possible by the generous support of Life Care Center. All food collected during Community Appreciation Day will be donated to the Idaho Falls Community Food Basket.

Zoo Launches Family Nature Program: On Saturday, Sept. 21 join the zoo as we head north to explore Camas National Wildlife Refuge during their Birds, Bugles, and Brunch event. Thanks to the generosity of Friends of Camas NWR, we'll have a free bus available to take the first 70 people who register to the refuge for a morning of fun family-friendly activities. Thanks to the generous support of INL's K-12 STEM grant program, we'll be offering a new family science-based activity each month. Visit to learn more and register.

Idaho Falls Zoo staff and volunteers thank you for all your support of the best little zoo in the west! Zoo hours are daily 9 a.m.-6 p.m. now through Labor Day. For more information, visit the Idaho Falls Zoo online or like us on Facebook and Instagram.
