The Idaho Falls Police Department recently held a promotion ceremony for four recent promotions. Captain Jeremy Galbreaith, Lieutenant Jessica Marley, Sergeant Craig Morgan, and Sergeant Malin Reynolds have each been promoted from their previous ranks.
Captain Jeremy Galbreaith –
Jeremy Galbreaith is now Captain of the Professional Standards and Logistics Bureau. Captain Galbreaith started his career at the Idaho Falls Police Department in July of 1998 and prior to this role has been a Patrol Officer, Neighborhood Police Officer, Detective, Polygraphist, Patrol Sergeant, and Professional Standards and Logistics Lieutenant.
Captain Galbreaith has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Forensic Science from the University of Central Oklahoma, and a Masters of Business Administration with an emphasis in Leadership from Tiffin University.
Captain Galbreaith recently graduated from the Northwestern School of Police Staff and Command. This is a premier and intensive law enforcement leadership program that prepares law enforcement officers for senior leadership positions by uniquely combining academic principles with practical applications.
Lieutenant Jessica Marley –
Jessica Marley is now a Lieutenant in the Patrol Bureau. Lieutenant Marley has been with the Idaho Falls Police Department since 2001 and in that time has been a Patrol Officer, Detective, Neighborhood Police Officer, Patrol Sergeant, and was on the SWAT team for nine years.
Before joining IFPD. Lieutenant Marley was a Social Worker with the Department of Health and Welfare. Lieutenant Marley has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Social Work from Idaho State University and a Masters of Social Work from Northwest Nazarene University. Lieutenant Marley is the first female lieutenant in IFPD history.

Sergeant Craig Morgan –
Sergeant Craig Morgan is in the Patrol Bureau and has been with the Idaho Falls Police Department since 2000. Sergeant Morgan has been a patrol officer, a member of the SWAT team, and a Field Training Officer with IFPD.
Prior to joining the Idaho Falls Police Department, Sergeant Morgan worked as a Corrections Officer in the Bonneville County Jail and was a Reserve Officer for the Shelley Police Department.
Sergeant Malin Reynolds –
Malin Reynolds has been promoted to a Sergeant in the Patrol Bureau. Sergeant Reynolds has been an Officer at the Idaho Falls Police Department since 1996. Over the last 23 years, Sergeant Reynolds has been a Patrol Officer, a member of the SWAT team specializing as a Grenadier for 19 years, and a Field Training Officer for over 20 years.
Prior to joining IFPD, Sergeant Reynolds was a Reserve Officer for the Logan, Utah Police Department.
