Idaho Falls, ID – If watching law enforcement and firefighters challenge each other on the softball field isn’t entertaining enough, add a splash of patriotic rock music to the mix!
Madison Rising describes themselves as being, “America’s most patriotic rock band.” The band is making the trek all the way from Washington D.C. to Idaho Falls this Friday, July 26 in an effort to help first responders raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of eastern Idaho. They will start the game off at Melaleuca Field with the National Anthem and entertain the crowd throughout the game with their patriotic rock style often compared to Creed, Nickelback and Stone Temple Pilots.
Madison Rising will be available for a meet and greet when the gates open 6pm. Members of the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #8 and the Idah
o Falls Fire Department take to the field at 7:15pm for the 9th Annual Guns vs. Hoses, during which game-goers can purchase raffle tickets and “bail” players out of “jail” throughout the game.
Tickets are available this week at the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office, 605 N. Capital and at the Idaho Falls Fire Department Station 1 Headquarters, 343 “E” Street from 9am to 5pm, cash only. Tickets are also available at Melaleuca Field throughout the week and at the gate on Friday. The suggested donation is $5 per person or $20 per immediate family, up to five members. All proceeds go to Make-A-Wish.

Sgt. Bryan Lovell with the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office states, “Our FOP members reached out to the band earlier this year, knowing that they often support military and first responder initiatives, such as Guns vs. Hoses. They are traveling to Idaho Falls for one day only, specifically for this game. Please help us give Madison Rising a warm, Idaho Falls welcome!”
