(Idaho Falls, ID) -- Representatives from the areas formerly served by the Targhee Regional Public Transportation Authority (TRPTA) have organized a meeting to discuss the status of TRPTA’s affairs and to initiate conversation on the future of public transit options in the region.
Mayor Rebecca Casper of Idaho Falls has noticed the gathering as a public meeting, and invited other local agencies to notice it in their jurisdictions as well. Agencies invited to attend include Bonneville County, Idaho Falls, Ammon, Iona, Rexburg, state and federal representatives, and others who are involved with or impacted by the recent TRPTA developments. An agenda for the meeting will be posted on the City of Idaho Falls website.
The public meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 21 at the Skyline Activity Center, located at 1575 N. Skyline Drive, in Idaho Falls, and is scheduled to for 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
