Zoo volunteers interact with visitors at our on-grounds exploration stations, provide presentations at schools in the fall and winter through our Zoomobile program, and help with zoo special events.
Applications will open in early 2020.
Applicants must complete an application, pass a background check, and attend an interview with zoo staff. If accepted, you must complete the required training.
If chosen after your interview, all adult volunteers must attend a general volunteer training session, approximately six hours long. At your interview, we will discuss upcoming training dates and times.
