College of Eastern Idaho (CEI, formerly EITC) is Idaho's newest comprehensive community college. CEI now offers academic associate of arts and science degrees with transferable general education credits. Another new opportunity is Early College Programs for high school students. CEI continues to offer career technical programs, basic skills instruction, workforce training and continuing education, and online learning.
University of Idaho's Idaho Falls Center offers full degree programs in engineering, science, technology and related disciplines as well as fully online programs in areas such as educational leadership.
Idaho State University's campus in Idaho Falls welcomes recent high school graduates, community college transfer students, and working adults, such as Idaho National Laboratory employees seeking career advancement. Complete undergraduate and graduate programs in science, engineering, and some healthcare fields are available on the Idaho Falls campus, while other healthcare fields, business, education, social work and other social sciences and humanities are available in hybrid or online formats. Students taking classes on campus or online use the Idaho Falls campus for support services and activities to enhance their education.
